None more so than on the par 3 6th hole which is featured in “The 100 Most Extraordinary Holes in Britain” Your shot from an elevated tee is hit out into mid air, and hopefully finds the green some 155 yards away, but also 100 feet below you. Depending on the wind the hole can play anything from a flick with a wedge to a full blooded 3 iron.
